We monitor your performance:
You will receive a free lesson planner when you start learning to drive with us, designed by ‘Anthony Johnson’ the owner. This is a far superior way of learning quickly compared to a progress card which is the minimum requirement by the DSA. We make notes on your weaknesses and write down advice for your future driving lessons. A progress card only tells you what you have covered and if your lucky, you’ll be treated to a score out of 5 or 10, which virtually means nothing to you, the pupil.

Our driving instructors are regularly monitored. Their pass rates are regularly checked and every month ‘Anthony Johnson-owner’ sits in on one of his instructors lessons to make sure standards remain high. To maximise every instructors earning potential, our advertising costs have to remain low, so our best way of winning business is a little awareness on the internet and by having the best instructors- which in turn gives driveJohnsons a massive referral/recommendation rate. Below is a table of the average amount of hours a driveJohnsons pupil takes to learn to drive against the national average. The national average amount of hours for all ages is 45 hours, plus 22 hours private practice. driveJohnsons average is 26 hours driving tuition.
If your looking to save £££’s in the long run then choose driveJohnsons for your driving lessons. There are 51.32% Grade 4 instructors in the country, compared to 5.99% Grade 6 instructors. This is one of the biggest contributing factors to why the national average is so high. Grade 4 is the lowest acceptable grade and grade 6 is the highest grade awarded to an instructor by the DSA.

Intensive Courses
Assessment Lessons
If your unsure of how many hours you will require and want our advice then this is for you. At the end of the lesson your instructor will give you an honest straight answer on how many hours you will require and what sort of time scale is required to achieve this. Your instructor will then draw up a plan of action for you and book your future lessons in leading up to your test.
In order for us to be able to achieve your goal of passing in 1-2 weeks, you must have passed your driving theory test. If you haven’t passed your theory test then please view our Pass within 1 month section.
Whatever your circumstances are, we will do our upmost to help you pass in the time scale you have in mind. For more information on intensive driving courses text ‘intensive course’ followed by your name to 07909842908 and we will contact you the same day with more details and draw up a potential programme for you suited to your circumstances, work commitments etc… so you can then visualise what it entails, as the last thing we want to do is mislead you or have any misunderstandings later on.
Once your happy with the plan of action devised over the phone, then you can pay online. We generally recommend doing your intensive driving courses over the course of 2 weeks as the chances of passing are significantly higher.
10 Hour blast = £210*
This is suited for those that have general driving experience, have motorbike experience or have failed a test quite badly with another driving school and want a fresh start. Time scale: 1 week or longer if you prefer.
20 Hours = £390*
This is suited for those that have very little or no experience but are usually good at practical exercises and have reasonable/good co-ordination.
30 Hours = £570*
This is suited for complete beginners, that would describe themselves as ‘not practically gifted’, significantly lacking confidence or dislikes learning in a restricted time scale.

Pass in 1month
This course is suited to those that haven’t passed the theory test yet or those that want a better chance of passing 1st time.
Why do you have a better chance of passing 1st time? We will be able to see you drive initially and then we can plan your lessons for you so it’s less intense and there’s less pressure and if something does not quite go to plan, then we can add or sometimes give you some of your money back if you don’t require all the lessons you paid for.
