Once you have successfully completed our driving instructor course you could be earning between £30,000 and £50,000 per year. Not everyone who undertakes instructor training with driveJohnsons is guaranteed a position with us once they have qualified. The reason for this is our standards are high and to pass all three driving instructor exams means you have met the DSA’s standards but there are other qualities we look for in a potential driveJohnsons instructor. Friendly, Approachable and patient are three qualities we would be looking for in addition to holding an ADI qualification. Driving Instructor Training Prices

Remember, most driving instructor training establishments want upfront payments in the region of around £3000+. Unlike some other driving schools you can pay as you go with us…
Its compulsory (by the DSA), that you have at least 40 hours training before you sit your part 3 exam. So thats £1000. Most people need in the region of 10-20 hours for part 1 and 2, so thats another £250-£500. So at driveJohnson’s we are saying it should cost you in the region £1500 and no more than £2000. Remember, your training will always be one to one and so far our success rate for pupils qualifying all three exams is 100%.

We offer driving instructor training at an hourly rate of £28* an hour.

This lesson planner is perfect for your part 3 training to be a driving instructor. It has all of the 10 subjects for phase 1 laid out simple to avoid any confusing on the day. Also perfect for qualified instructors with briefings for subjects beyond part 3.. like roundabouts, mini roundabouts, bay park etc.

This DVD has everything you require to be perfect at briefing pupils on a part 3 exam and use after you have passed, for every day lessons with your pupils in and around Buckingham, Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Also included are a massive variety of open questions that are great to apply on the 2nd phase of your part 3 exam to your pupil. “I appreciate the adverts on the television are sometimes colourful and promising, but please do your homework before you jump into driving instructor training.
I’m not one for criticising other driving school establishments, but if you have the time, please type in: red driving instructor scam on google. there is About 269,000 results. Have a read for yourself and make your own judgement. Also type: ‘Red driving school’ onto ‘youtube’ and you will see more negatives than positives, type: ‘Red driving school scam’ and you will get various documentaries/episodes with some very unhappy customers.

I’ve been screwed over before by other instructor trainers and even local instructors. So i’m just warning you 77% of applicant’s to ‘become a driving instructor’ don’t actually qualify (dsa statistic), it’s not easy to qualify but it’s definitely possible with the right guidance and the right instructor. I think it’s easier to be straight with people in the beginning, rather than me making a quick buck and then getting lots of criticism and complaints on google, youtube, newspapers and national television”.
