Hi. My name is Darren Filby, and I have been an instructor since 2010. I absolutely love the job. Prior to 2010, I had a 25 year career in banking. Why did I change career? Quite simply, I reached a point in life where I wanted something more rewarding than my previous job could offer. My style is to motivate and get the very best out of people. Occasionally, I will meet someone who is convinced they don’t have what it takes to drive a manual car. With some gentle coaching and motivation, however, it is amazing what can be achieved. A positive mindset and a desire to succeed can work wonders. That’s me, plain and simple. Thanks for reading.
