With everything that is going on at the moment I thought it was going to be difficult to pass but I saw a Drive Johnsons car and called the number. I’m so glad I did as I passed my test today. I went with another company for 1 year but felt like she was just taking my money so I typed in top 5 driving schools and Drive Johnsons came up with whom I FINALLY passed my test which is perfect timing just before the new year.

Fantastic time on my lessons and I can't recommend drive johsnon enough to anyone who needs to learn.
I was told to learn with Drive Johnson after my brother passed with them and thankfully I took his advice and was able to pass after just 20 hours of learning.
I was a very nervous learner, however, Sagher made me feel very comfortable immediately which helped me learn quicker as I was less nervous and worried about making mistakes. Even when I almost killed us like 70 times, he was very calm and would try and joke about it. His teaching style definitely suited me and would recommend him to anyone who is nervous or had a bad experience in their past.

Sagher is a wonderful person. Had minimum classes(1+4 with him to get my License. He assessed me for the first day and he genuinely suggested me how many classes would be sufficient for me to make brush up my skills. I am happy that I could earn my license with only 4 classes(excluding Assessment). Thanks to him. He is fab!!

Taking a mock test leading up to your driving test is a great way to practice the pressure and get a rough idea of how ready you are for your test. If you are getting 102 serious faults two weeks before your test, consider having a few extra hours. If you can't pass the mock test, how will you pass on the day of the actual test?

Always get to the test centre 10 to 15 minutes early. You are allowed to drive in 5-10 minutes before the test starts. At many test centres, it gets congested. By getting in the test centre car park as early as possible, you can get the best parking bay, in case you are asked to do the bay park manoeuvre.

Your driving test will be held at the Heckmondwike Driving Test Centre, located on a busy high street. The journey to Heckmondwike from Dewsbury mainly involves town driving, giving you a brilliant opportunity to get to terms with the many different pedestrian crossings, busy junctions and roundabouts. Lots of people get nervous about learning to drive in town. In reality, the traffic moves at much slower speeds, giving you more time to process and deal with upcoming hazards.
