Tom is a really good instructor. Supportive, calm, friendly and patient. He is flexible to date and time changes. He was my wife's instructor as well. Both of us passed first time. I would recommend him to anybody looking to start driving lessons. Thank you very much Tom

My son has been doing lessons for around 2 months with drive johnsons. He loves his lessons and always impresses me with the amount he has learnt in each of his 2 hour lessons. I feel that I chose the best place, and will certainly recommend them to others needing lessons.

Ive been driving in India for 9 yrs and need to pass UK test. The instruction is good and I dont feel like my money is been wasted. I had my test this morning and I passed 4 minors.

It's good to be considerate of other road users, but on your test, you have got to go nice and slow so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow so you have time to observe!

Moving off with the handbrake on is a popular reason for failing your test. Many learners don't release the handbrake fully when moving off and then, 5-10 seconds later, the car starts to make a beeping noise. At this point, you have probably failed your test.
