Driving lessons in Canary Wharf

My instruction with Ahmad was fantastic. He picked me up for the first lesson & I must have been a nervous wreck - but we drove for about 10 minutes to somewhere quieter, then he showed me the basics of moving the vehicle, and off we went! After 20 hours I had to take a break in my lessons for personal reasons, but when I resumed Ahmad was more than happy to continue with me and see me through my driving test! A very happy Hannah that shows off for taking 32 hours & passing her test 1st time with 1 minor!

Starting out my driving lessons with Ahmad was such a great experience! He is a natural teacher, down to earth, very communicative and present with you at all times. He made the learning process so easy for me, and I felt totally relaxed driving with him. As I just started out and I'm leaving the country I
now have to keep learning in my home country - but if I had been able to keep driving with Ahmad I am 1000% I would pass my test! Thanks Ahmad for being such a great teacher and for giving me the best start I could have wished for in my driving journey!

Ahmad is an AMAZING instructor. I passed my driving test the first time thanks to his rigorous and attentive teaching. I’m really grateful for having him as my instructor, he takes the time to explain every single detail about driving, never puts any pressure, very patient and also punctual. I always felt relaxed about driving, he is also very easy to talk to and friendly.
Finally his gives great driving recommendations and advices that are extremely helpful for the test and for the everyday driving too.
I absolutely recommend him, anyone would be lucky to have him as their instructor.

I had 10 hours of driving lessons with Ahmed in preparation for moving to the US because I wanted some manual experience. I found him to be calm and considerate allowing me to work at my own pace to become familiar with driving. I’ll keep his number incase I ever come back to the UK and need a manual driving instructor!

I turned to Abdul when I failed twice with another driving instructor. Abdul never said one bad thing about my previous instructor, he seemed to just let is teaching do the talking. After 10 hours of lessons I passed my test with just 1 driving fault.

Ahmad was extremely patient and friendly on all of our lessons. He made sure that I had enough experience with all of the manoeuvres, junctions, roundabouts and dual carriageways that I would encounter in day to day driving and on the test route. Fantastic teacher, goes at the correct pace never raises his voice and allows me to make the mistakes and correct them myself instead of correcting me every time. Always enjoy the lessons and very much recommend!

I passed first time with Ahmad who I think is a fantastic instructor. He's friendly, chatty and puts you at ease, which is important when navigating tricky situations on city roads. But at the same time he's always completely on the ball when it comes to your driving. My son has been doing lessons for around 2 months with drive johnsons. He loves his lessons and always impresses me with the amount he has learnt in each of his 2 hour lessons. I feel that I chose the best place, and will certainly recommend them to others needing lessons.

So far I've done about 7 hours with Ahmad. The lessons are good and I feel like I've done loads already, and he's said as well that I'll probably only need like 15 or 20 more hours before I'm ready to go for my test. Me and my partner both decide to do lessons and get our licenses as fast as we can. I called drive jhonsons and arranged lessons for me and her, and we both got given ahmad ( who is very nice and great instructor ). If you need lessons then we must tell you that ahmad will be best instructor ever!

Naz is a fantastic teacher! Very thorough with his teaching and irons out any mistakes when they arise.

After changing instructors, I’m actually enjoying my lessons instead of dreading them and have come on leaps and bounds with Naz. He is very calm and patient and he has made me a very confident driver after only a handful of lessons.

I wasn't sure about using a bigger driving school because of all the things you read online, but after being let down SIX times in a row by someone else, I called driveJohnson's to book my first lesson just so I could get the ball rolling. Ahmad did my lesson and we got on like a house on fire, and now after 15 hours with him I'm looking at booking my test for next month - great instructor!

wicked instructor!! i've been doing lessons ffor ages n ahmad assessed me, did another 6 hours with me n we booked the test. i passed it n that wouldnt of been possible if it werent for ahmad!! sound guy, easy lessons and prices were decent.

Ahmad is an amazing teacher. Every lesson was such a joy. He is calm and reassuring, and I felt like I could actually make mistakes, get feedback, learn and improve, while enjoying the whole process. Ahmad is an excellent driver, and could notice the slightest mistakes in my driving and instantly deliver feedback in such a way that I never felt bad. I passed the exam the first time with a couple minors after 2 months of lessons, and more importantly, feel very confident on the road while driving.
