Whilst you are learning and sitting in the passenger seat when someone else is driving, pay attention and watch the driver. Watch the road and your driver to see how you would handle certain situations. Seeing how others respond and act will help you with the decision-making in your lessons.

Often during the parallel park, we use the door mirror so much that we risk not looking all around and making effective observations. If you ensure you look over your right shoulder at least twice and out of the back of the window at least 6 times, then that should be just enough to satisfy the examiner. These are only guidelines though - in some cases you will need to look around even more during busy times.

Yes, this should be absolutely fine. We have a great network of local driving instructors in Nottingham and Arnold that are very happy to flex drop-off and pick-up locations to fit round their pupils' hectic lives. They are used to picking up learners from one place and dropping them off in another.
