Learning how to drive in Ashton-under-Lyne has never been easier. We'll provide you with a fully qualified driving instructor who resides in the area, drives the Ashton-under-Lyne and Tameside roads every day, knowing them like the back of their hands.
When you take your driving test, it will most likely be at the Chadderton Driving Test Centre since Ashton-under-Lyne doesn't have its own. When it comes to taking your driving test in Chadderton, your instructor will give you driving lessons in Chadderton to make sure you are aware of the test routes you could face.
When you start your driving lessons in Ashton-under-Lyne, you won't start in the busy town centre; this is so you can avoid the heavy traffic coming in from Manchester not so far away. Instead, you'll begin your learning in one of the quieter, residential areas around the town, like Salisbury Drive. This road is fairly long, so you can learn how to move off, bump up a gear or two, slow down and stop, then do it all again. When you are approaching readiness for your driving test, your driveJohnson's driving instructor will take you down to the Chadderton test route areas, so you can become familiar with the surrounding roads and hazards that may arise on your driving tests, like the A627 and A560 A-roads.
It doesn't matter which roads you'll have to cover on your driving test. You can be sure that your driving instructor will prepare you for absolutely everything.
Yes, you can still learn with us even if you need to take part of your driving lessons in Droylsden. When it comes to starting to drive, you can choose to either start in Ashton under Lyne or in Droylsden.
When you book with us, your instructor will go through a pick-up and drop-off location with you. They do this because it will allow them to better plan your lesson to make sure you have an enjoyable and educational lesson on the way to Droylsden.
