Many learners fail their manoeuvre because they rush it. They get concerned about keeping other road users waiting. It's good to be considerate of other road users, but on your test, you have got to go nice and slow so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow so you have time to observe!

You have a 1 in 3 chance of being asked to do the emergency stop. If you are asked to do this, the examiner will explain this to you when the car is stationary. You will most likely notice your examiner looking over their shoulder when the car is moving. This is to double-check it’s safe, so be ready. When they look over their shoulder, they are about to ask you to stop!

Good question, Depending on your current driving lesson will determine where you go at the beginning. Beginners will start close to their home usually and more advanced learners can venture to the A228 and A229 are perfect for gaining vital dual carriageway experience once you’re ready and with the M20 right on your doorstep it’s a great opportunity to challenge yourself and get some motorway practice - before you take your driving test.
