I had a fantastic experience, and I am over the moon to now be able to drive on my own in my car all on my own!
I started learning with drivejohnsons after being let down by my local instructor. I progressed really quickly due to having a brilliant instructor. after 19 hours I passed first time with only 3 minors.
I had a number of driving instructors before Jules and he is definitely the best I have had. He is very patient and never got annoyed with me or made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend!

What can i say … my instructor was amazing. Incredibly patient, funny but also professional … lessons were never boring and I always looked forward to them. I came to Drive Johnsons in Farnborough after being let down by another company I felt like they just kept taking my money and wasting my time. I googled the best top 5 driving schools in Farnborough and Drive Johnsons came up. I did 20 hours with Drive Johnsons 18 hours and 2 hours for my test and passed first time.

When you are on the independent driving part of the test, it's common to miss your mirrors and signalling when listening to and following the satnav. Remember, every time you hear a new direction, be prepared to check your mirrors and put a signal on if needed.

When taking your driving test, your closest option is Farnborough. The test centre is only a short trip down the A325 or M3. This test centre is not only the closest but also has the higher average first time pass rate when compared to test centres near Bagshot.
Due to Bagshot not having a test centre, you will begin to take lessons in Farnborough when you are approaching your driving test. We move your driving lessons in Bagshot to Farnborough as it allows you to continue to develop your driving whilst learning the test routes.
Firstly, your instructor will check both your eyesight and provisional driving licence. You will then have a quick conversation about your experience and, if you have never driven before, you will be taken to a quiet area in Bagshot to start learning, but depending on your experience, that could change.
Once the lesson is over, you will have a quick debrief and go through the strengths and weaknesses of your lesson. Your instructor will also record what you covered and any advice or guidance that has been given to you for next time and for you to take away.
If you are taking your driving lessons in Bagshot and want to practice your parking outside of your lessons, there are several great spots to practice. Practising outside of your lessons will help you to develop your skills and continue to grow your confidence.
If you want to practice your parking in a real-world scenario, we would recommend the Waitrose car park that is off London Road. This is a great place to practice parking as it is a quieter car park with plenty of room for you to practice bay parking in either a busy or a quiet area of the car park.
