If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more is completed.

If you are a nervous person, especially under test conditions, then it's worth practicing the following:

- Breathing techniques to remain calm under pressure. Breath in through nose over 4-5 seconds and breath slowly out through the mouth for 4-5 seconds.

- Your driving test will probably feel like the most important exam you've taken so far on the day, but try and put it into perspective by saying to yourself, "If I fail, I can always take it again." It's not so easy to take your GCSE's, A Levels, degree again is it?

- If you spend 99% of your brain power worrying, then there is only 1% thinking about concentrating on the road ahead. So flip the negativity to positivity. If you are in a positive mindset your chances of passing will be higher!
