Your driving instructor in Bearwood will ask you about any prior driving experience you may have had. If you have not had any driving lessons before, don't worry as many learners who come to us have not had any prior driving lessons. During your initial chat with your driving instructor, they will also go over the basics of the car with you, do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is complete, your instructor will begin your driving lesson in a quiet area. You will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
