Frequently asked questions...
Your driving instructor will come to meet you at a convenient place and time for you. They will have an initial chat to introduce themselves and find out you about your previous experience. During this chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will then begin your driving lesson in a quiet area in Bonnyrigg, such as Burnbrae Avenue. You will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals, how to steer, turning left and right from a major to minor road, and perhaps emerging from an open T Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
