Taking a mock test leading up to your driving test is a great way to practice the pressure and get a rough idea of how ready you are for your test. The very first thing that will happen is your driving instructor in Boscombe will introduce themselves and ask you a few questions to get to know you a bit better. They will take a look at your provisional licence and do an eyesight check.
Once this is all complete, your instructor will drive you to a quiet area, such as Hamilton Close. If you have no prior experience behind the wheel, your driving instructor will typically begin by explaining the cars controls and how to steer. They will teach you clutch control, how to use the different pedals and how to move off and stop in the car. Depending on how fast you are progressing and how confident you feel, your instructor may have you driving around some quiet roads to practice turning left and right (which is harder) from a major to minor road. You may also start emerging from open T Junctions if you are progressing at a pace. Your driving instructor will tailor their lessons to a level that suits you as an individual.
Yes, our driving instructors in Bournemouth are very flexible on pick-up and drop-off locations so this shouldn't be a problem. We often find that our pupils find it more convenient to be picked up from one place and dropped off at another and our instructors are happy to adjust their lessons to accommodate this. Just let our Bookings Team know where and when you need to be collected from and dropped off at and they will put this in place for you.
