My instructor Tony has been fantastic he is always on time and makes our lessons enjoying and most importantly very informative.

Tony is extremely knowledgable, skilled and patient. Couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor and I had a lot of fun learning to drive. Tony helped me pass my test first time around which I never thought I'd be able to do, thank you Tony!

My faith in driving was given back to me by learning with Tony, I never thought I would be able to drive and then it was broken down to me by Tony and I am so thankful for that as it was what I needed in order to pass.
After making over 20 calls and being told everywhere was fully booked I managed to get a lesson booked with Drivejohnsons and since then I have had lessons weekly with my instructor Tony Mills. He is a very good instructor, I would recommend him to anyone.
I was able to get an early test after passing my theory and thanks to Tony I got ready in less than 10 hours of lessons and was able to pass my early test with just three minors.
Learning with Tony was quick, simple and easy and when I passed after 20 hours it felt amazing.
Tony Mills is superb at being not only an instructor but also as a person, he cares and he helps and he is the best teacher I have ever had. I am so proud to have had him as my teacher when I learnt to drive and I am so happy to have passed with him.

I always wanted to pass my driving test and thanks to Tonys incredible teaching I was able to pass in Tonys automatic after 30 hours of amazing lessons.
Tony was a phenomenal instructor and thanks to his great teaching I was able to pass first time and after only 25 hours of lessons.
Brilliant teaching and always made me feel at ease when we were out on the road. It helped that Tony talked to me about football and other topics I was interested in as it put me at ease and helped me to learn at my own pace.

I'd had lessons before with 2 different instructors and wasn't happy with my lessons, I decided to change driving school to drive johnsons and they put me with Tony as my instructor. So happy and grateful that I got to learn with Tony, don't think I could've done it with any other instructor. Cheers Tony!

Ground Floor, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford TN23 1PLEveryone is going to be nervous when it comes to taking their driving test. The best way to manage your nerves in advance is by doing the following:
1. Make sure you have passed a mock test with your instructor.
2. Ensure you know the test route areas. Your driveJohnson’s instructor will make sure this is covered.
3. Wear comfortable clothing on the day of your test. Wearing a blazer jacket, for example, might be a bit tight around the arms and shoulders. Wearing a big puffer jacket may make you too hot. You want a cool temperature driving environment during the day.
4. If you are really nervous, then try taking rescue remedy leading up to the day of your driving test.
5. Go to bed at your normal time. If you go to bed at 11pm at night, don’t try to go to bed at 8pm. Your body and mind won’t be used to sleeping so early, and this could cause worry later on into the night. If you want to go to bed early, start making gradual changes at least a month before your test.
