Learning to drive in Chatteris usually commences in a quiet, not so busy, predominantly residential spot. Places like The Elms and Eastwood, make for the perfect starting locations as they have long straight roads, especially suited for learning how to move away in the car, get into 2nd gear and stop again a couple of times. They also lead onto other roads such as Tithe Road, where you can learn how to turn into side roads and pull away at T-junctions.
