It’s common when turning left at a blind T-junction to look right and only look left when the car goes into a new road. You will often get away with this, but now and again, something will be there, like a parked car or a pedestrian about to walk out. On your test, you’ll fail, and in real life, you’ll have a severe accident. Be sure to do the minimum observations for T-junctions: right, left, right and then look into the road before you emerge into it!

Our driving school in Chislehurst also regularly has learners passing in 10 to 15 hours from scratch. You can therefore rest assured that we will work hard to help you to pass quickly and safely.
Your driving instructor in Chislehurst will arrive and have a quick chat first off to get to know you a bit better. They will find out about your prior driving experience, check your provisional licence and carry out a quick eyesight check. Then it will be over to you to practice behind the wheel!
If you have little to no driving experience, your driving instructor will drive you to a quiet residential road in Chislehurst, somewhere like Broadheath Drive, where you can practice away from traffic. You will go over the basic controls of the car, how to steer, how to move off and stop, change gear and, if you are progressing quickly, how to turn left and right from a major to a minor road.
If you have had driving lessons before, your driving instructor will ask you to drive around Chislehurst, showing them your skill level so that they can see your strengths and what you might need to work on before your test.
