Passed first time thanks to Paul, he is a nice, patient guy with great teaching methods that will ensure that you become a safe driver, highly recommend to anyone looking for an instructor
Natalie is very patient. If you don't understand something she will try a different way until you do understand. Her flexible teaching methods definitely suited me and helped me pass first time.
If you are struggling to learn to drive then Paul Abbess is your man! He got me through my test first time after I had been with 3 other driving instructors. He wasn't critical of their teaching styles just said everyone teaches different when I knew full well they were pony! He lets his teaching do the talking which I respect!

I’m a older driving Paul was fantastic with me . He was very patient calm all the time and he didn’t mind at all repeating things to me if I didn’t understand. Passed first time. Now he is helping my son . I would recommend this man to any of my friends and family . Thank u Paul

Fantastic teacher, patient and understanding. I was a very nervous driver when I started with Natalie and had already failed two tests, but she stuck with me and supported me throughout my journey and built my confidence to where it is now, I would recommend her to anyone!

I can't thank Natalie enough. She was a great instructor but she also made me feel at ease which helped me learn quicker. My previous instructor use to shout and make me feel nervous - so it made learning to drive harder.

Many learners think they should offset their mirrors, so they must move their heads more during the test. You should be able to check your mirrors by moving your eyes - not your head. The examiners are trained to look out for eye checks rather than head movements. Moving your head may cause the examiner to think your mirrors are not set up correctly.

When overtaking large vehicles on dual carriageways, try not to stay in their blind spot for too long. Lorries have massive blind spots, so when you decide to overtake them you need to ensure it's going to be smooth and swift to overtake them where you are and not stay beside them for too long.

Yes they do. All of our instructors know the test routes in Clacton well and as you get closer to your test you will cover these more and more whilst finishing and tidying your driving skills at the same time.
