I did a 20 hour intensive course with Robert Seyner, he got me through my lessons and my test with no problems at all! I passed first time with 2 minors! I was so nervous when test day came, but Rob kept me cool and I aced the exam! Thanks so much Rob!

I passed in early 2016 with Robert's help after a failed test about 8 years beforehand. Initially I was a little nervous having not driven for 8 years but Robert is truly a great teacher and explains things in total sense. I was looking for an instructor who was patient and calm, I had a previous instructor that wasn't any of these things and it made learning so difficult for me. I was recommended Rob by one of my friends, and I just wish I had found him sooner! He didn't raise his voice and stress me when I made mistakes, he made learning such a breeze and a lot more fun for me!! I passed first time with 5 minors!

I had a fantastic time with Robert, and now I can finally drive my car.
I hated learning to drive. However, when I changed over to drive Johnsons I was given a really good instructor/coach. He used diagrams when I was struggling and calmed me down when I got something wrong and got angry with myself.

When you begin learning to drive, you will start on quiet roads around your house and quieter streets. After this, you will find yourself learning on busier roads and car parks to get your manoeuvers and skills to a higher standard.
Due to the size of Devizes, you will then find yourself driving and learning in a more complex area, which could be Chippenham, Trowbridge and Swindon. The reason you will move to one of these locations is that it will likely be where you take your test.
When it comes to taking your lessons, you will start with building a strong base of fundamental skills. We do this by focusing on the basics, and you will take the next step once you have mastered the previous one.
The basics that you will be learning will begin with learning the basic controls, which pedal does what, how to progress through the gears, adjusting the seat, switching on the lights and indicators. Along with this, you will then go into how to move off and stop, turn left and right, and master clutch control.
Due to Devizes size and location, it does not have its dedicated test centre. However, you do have some to choose from. These include Chippenham, Swindon and Trowbridge as the nearest three test centres.
We will make sure that none of our instructors long out your lessons by having you continue to learn in a place where you won't be taking your test. Your instructor will make sure that you are close to being test ready. You then move to the area where you will have your test. This allows you to continue to grow as a driver, but you will also be learning the test routes at the same time.
