I was able to get an early test after passing my theory and thanks to Tony I got ready in less than 10 hours of lessons and was able to pass my early test with just three minors.
Thank you so much for all of your help Tony, you were great at helping me to ace my driving and getting my head around all of the manoueveres.
I'd had lessons before with 2 different instructors and wasn't happy with my lessons, I decided to change driving school to drive johnsons and they put me with Tony as my instructor. So happy and grateful that I got to learn with Tony, don't think I could've done it with any other instructor. Cheers Tony!
Tony is fantastic I was struggling to learn to drive a manual but then I switched to automatic with Tony and it made everything so much simpler. His way of teaching is amazing and I can't rate him high enough

I had failed my test six times with two different driving schools but then I was recommended to learn with Tony in his automatic with driveJohnson's and it was incredible. He knew what I needed to learn and was able to help me change my life around and now I am able to go and buy my own car.

Tony Mills is superb at being not only an instructor but also as a person, he cares and he helps and he is the best teacher I have ever had. I am so proud to have had him as my teacher when I learnt to drive and I am so happy to have passed with him.

My faith in driving was given back to me by learning with Tony, I never thought I would be able to drive and then it was broken down to me by Tony and I am so thankful for that as it was what I needed in order to pass.

Brilliant teaching and always made me feel at ease when we were out on the road. It helped that Tony talked to me about football and other topics I was interested in as it put me at ease and helped me to learn at my own pace.

You will often get away with this, but now and again, something will be there, like a parked car or a pedestrian about to walk out. On your test, you’ll fail, and in real life, you’ll have a severe accident. Be sure to do the minimum observations for T-junctions: right, left, right and then look into the road before you emerge into it!

Many learners fail their manoeuvre because they rush it. They get concerned about keeping other road users waiting. It's good to be considerate about other road users, but on your test, you have got to go nice and slow, so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow, so you have time to observe!
