Smith Street, Bury BL9 6HHIt’s common when turning left at a blind T-junction to look right and only look left when the car goes into a new road. You will often get away with this, but now and again, something will be there, like a parked car or a pedestrian about to walk out. On your test, you’ll fail, and in real life, you’ll have a severe accident. Be sure to do the minimum observations for T-junctions: right, left, right and then look into the road before you emerge into it!

If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more are completed.

Your nearest test centres are about half an hour's drive away in Bolton, Atherton and Bury. Taking your test at any of these test centres would allow you to practice some of the test routes and tricky areas before your test, and your driving instructor in Farnworth will ensure that you are familiar with these beforehand. Whichever you choose, your instructor will ensure that you have driving lessons in Bolton, Atherton or Bury, depending on your chosen test centre, so that you feel well-prepared for any challenge you might face on test day.
