There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more are completed.

A nice little tip that should serve you well is that whenever the examiner gives you a direction, you will inevitably have to check your mirrors. If they say, “Next road on the left”, check the interior and left door mirrors. If they say, “At the roundabout, follow the road ahead”, check your interior mirror as you will need to slow down and know what’s behind you.

When you begin your first driving lesson, your driving instructor in Garretts Green will have an initial chat, introduce themselves and find out more about you and any previous driving experience you might have. They will also go over the basics of the car, do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will begin your driving lesson in a quiet area. You will learn about moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
