If the examiner asks you to drive forwards into a parking bay, try to choose a bay without cars next to it. They will never ask you to park your vehicle in one particular bay. They will usually say something like, "I would like you to drive forwards into any bay to the left or right of you". When performing the manoeuvre, imagine there are cars in both bays next to you, that's how much you can drive over the neighbouring bays (so not that much).

You will need to bring your provisional driving licence with you to your first driving lesson so that your driving instructor can see it as they will need to check it before they can start the lesson. However, apart from this you just need to bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
