Lee was a great instructor. I passed my test first time. He always sent me SMS to remember me for lessons and turns up on time. He has enough experience to help a new driver to feel safe and stress-free in the road. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

After failing multiple times with a previous instructor and being close to giving up, i chose to give a new instructor a go (Lee) which was the best decision i could’ve done. He helped improve my driving very quickly and allowed me to pass with no minors at all on my first test after learning with him. Couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone. Best instructor out there

I cannot recommend Lee enough, he’s helped me to pass my test first time. His calm and practical teaching style really helped me get to grips with all aspects of driving very quickly. His knowledge and approach made learning to drive fun and engaging.

Lee was absolutely brilliant. My daughter really wanted to learn to drive but was incredibly nervous about starting lessons. Lee was so patient with her and very reassuring and, thanks to his support, she quickly gained much more self confidence to the point she really looked forward to her lessons. Lee was always punctual, very easy to contact and flexible. My daughter really liked him and I found him extremely pleasant to deal with too. Both myself and my daughter would highly recommend him, particularly to anyone who is nervous about taking their first steps on the road to driving.

Lee is easily one of the best driving instructors in the Leeds area, he understood what I needed from my lessons, and explained things to me effectively and in a way I could easily understand. Lee is very patient, and is quick to spot mistakes made and ensure they are corrected very quickly. Lee has good local knowledge of test routes and you can tell straight away how experienced he is. I managed to pass first time With Lee As a beginner driver. He is a credit to drive Johnson and I would highly recommend!

I passed my test after around 8 months of learning with Lee. He is a great instructor, patient and encouraging and able to pick up on things quickly to avoid bad driving habits. Always on time and helped 3 other people I know to pass too.

Lee is an excellent driving instructor. Flexible, punctual and always attentive in lessons. I had some extreme anxiety around driving after a motorcycle accident prior; Lee used a no nonsense and proactive approach which gave me so much confidence driving I went from anxious to excited for a lesson. Lee can get a little frustrated at times - but this is only when he knows you can do better and instead of being patronising it actually made me want to perform better to impress. The lessons are to such a high standard and the expectation is almost perfection which makes the actual driving test much easier! Thank you

Lee has been a fantastic driving instructor. I originally had lessons when i turned 17 and stoped at the time of pandemic and then I started uni. Having had 3 years away from driving, Lee started me on the basics and allowed me to progress at a great pace. I always felt safe and in the right hands. He used an ipad with lots of diagrams and scenarios to help me understand manoeuvres and situations before and after performing them on the road. I passed first time and couldn’t recommend Lee enough, best driving instructor I have had.

I was told about Saleem from a friend at school and I am delighted to have learnt with him as he helped me to go from no experience to passing my test in just 15 hours.

Passed today on second attempt!

I really don’t believe I could of done this without Lee. He is so patient and knows what to do when and how to push you to get the best. Could not thank him enough for everything he has done and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive!

Lee is the best instructor ever (I should know, I've been through 3!) He's super knowledgeable, professional, thorough, skilled and such a laugh. I passed first time with him, he made sure I was prepared and worked within my busy schedule and time limits. He's very good at explaining things, and would make sure I'd understood. He's also (annoyingly) good at pointing out mistakes and making sure he's gone over them with you in a constructive way. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Lee! :)

Lee is everything you want in a driving instructor; friendly, professional, punctual and an absolute expert in his field. I started off learning with a highly recommended driving instructor but switched to Lee after my old instructor cancelled a few lessons. It was the best decision that I ever made as my old instructor paled in comparison to Lee. Lee's experience and know-how were evident from lesson one and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Literally the perfect driving instructor. Turns up exactly on time, never cancelled a lesson and one of the kindest and friendly people I've ever met. Never once got angry or annoyed. Lee's expertise and experience was obvious during the test as the route covered was almost identical to the ones covered during lessons. And if you want to practice anything, he knows exactly where to go. I couldn't recommend Lee enough, there is literally no downside to learning to drive with Lee and he single handedly helped me pass first time.

I have had lessons on and off for a few years now, I then fell pregnant and definitely needed to drive before my baby came so I called drive Johnsons and they paired me with Lee who I passed my test with after 38 hours.

I went through quite a few instructors before meeting Lee and he really is the best. He is extremely good at his job- with clear instructions, tons of patience and constant good advice. He is also very professional- his car is always spotless, he is always on time and he is really personable too. His teaching is not only the reason I passed my test first time, but will be the reason I go on driving as safely as possible. 100% recommend.
