Rob is an outstanding teacher, he has a great way of working with people and really helped me learn to drive, I am an anxious person and he was able to always calm me down and make it feel like it was second nature and I will forever be thankful to him.

Rob was fantastic and really helped me get to where I needed to be with ease, I was really struggling with parallel parking and it wasn't until he broke it down to the bare minimum that it finally clicked. Now I am an expert and it is all thanks to Rob
Rob really helped me overcome my nerves. On my first lesson I kept stalling, but after a few lessons he helped me get over the clutch control and helped me pass my test really fast.

Rob was a great instructor I really struggled with clutch control but after a couple of lessons, I had already improved drastically. He got me to understand it in its most basic form and that is something that helped me immeasurably. Thank you for everything Rob

If you are a beginner then there are some quiet roads around Ise-Lodge Community Centre, such as St Catherine's Road which is nice and long with not too many parked cars. Also, the area around Margaret Road is another classic area to pick up the basics and if it's a weekend lesson then Telford Way Industrial Estate is a must place for beginners too!
Yes, you can. We would usually recommend letting us know in advance so we can allocate you a driving instructor in Northampton who also covers Kettering. Due to the backlog on driving tests since the pandemic, test centre availability in Kettering can be poor. If this happens, your driving instructor in Kettering may advise you take the test somewhere else nearby where the waiting time is considerably less.

Your driving instructor in Kettering will come to meet you at a prearranged time and place that works well for you. They will introduce themselves, ask you about your previous driving experience, do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will then begin your driving lessons in quiet roads in Kettering where you can practice the basics without being disturbed; quiet roads, like those off St John's Road, would work well.
