For some reason, overtaking a cyclist on your driving test becomes much trickier. The human brain overanalyses everything because of the pressure. Here are some tips to decide when to overtake them.
You should never overtake a cyclist approaching or on a junction. You should never overtake a cyclist if you can't leave them at least an open car door length (1 metre). You should only overtake them if you think you can do it quickly and smoothly. If you are in slow moving traffic, consider holding back.

You won't be pushed quickly into driving in busy traffic in the middle of Birmingham, but they will tailor a driving lesson plan to start in quiet roads and build up your skills and confidence at a pace you feel happy with. This will help you to learn effectively and also enjoy your lessons whilst you prepare for your driving test.
