A classic question is, what happens if you go the wrong way on your test? The answer is not a lot. Just try to do it safely, and you will be fine. Many learners will swerve at short notice, realising they are in the wrong lane and fail for the changing lanes part. If the examiner can see you have time to get into the correct lane, they may repeat the instruction or use hand signals. They won't repeat or re-enforce the direction if it isn't safe or there isn't enough time. You will not receive a driving fault for safely going in the wrong direction on your test.

Stop the car if you are doing the bay park and realise you will go over the white lines. Don't continue going over the lines. You can go over them slightly but imagine a car was parked in the bay. If you think you would hit it, then stop and adjust.

Firstly, your instructor will check both your eyesight and provisional driving licence along with going through the basics of the car. You will then have a quick conversation about your experience and, you will be taken to an area that matches the amount of experience you have.
Once the lesson is over, you will be given a debrief and go through the strengths and weaknesses of your lesson. Your instructor will also record what you covered and any advice or guidance that has been given to you for next time and for you to take away.
