For example, if you stall, panic and let the car roll back you will fail. If you stall, secure the car with footbrake or handbrake, restart and move away safely you will receive just a driving fault.
Be sure to secure the car first so it doesn't roll into a new road or roll back. Then restart quickly and safely. Check it's safe to move away again as well. If somebody is going round you, you may want to wait for them to pass first.

Windsor Drive and Wallbridge Drive are long, quiet roads where you can start your driving lessons in Leek and pick up the basics of driving. Once your confidence is up and the basic driving skills are there, you will be able to pick up the A53 Broad Street, Crompton (A520) and Ashbourne Road (A523), which are considerably busier and provide you with various challenges and different hazards that you can learn to deal with and prepare for.
