Rasan is a super instructor and by far the best in South East London. He is a saint and helped me pass with no minors.

Often during the parallel park, we use the door mirror so much that we risk not looking all around and making effective observations. If you ensure you look over your right shoulder at least twice and out of the back of the window at least 6 times, then that should be just enough to satisfy the examiner. These are only guidelines though - in some cases you will need to look around even more during busy times.

Your driving instructor in Belvedere will come to collect you at a time and location that suits you. They will have a quick introductory chat to introduce themselves and find out about your driving experience. They will also do a quick check of your eyesight and provisional licence.
They will then start you behind the wheel in a quiet, residential road, such as Tower Road, where you can practice away from traffic. You will cover the basic controls of the car, how to move off and stop the car, changing gears, turning left and right from a major to minor road and, if you are progressing quickly, emerging from an open T Junction. Your driving instructor will tailor the lesson to your needs and skill-level, and ensure that it moves at a pace you are comfortable with.
