If the examiner makes conversation with you, always answer to avoid being rude. They will typically only ask you, "What do you do for a living?" or "Did you take today off work?"

Yes, we are happy to be able to offer automatic driving lessons in Crystal Palace. We have a few different driving instructors offering both manual and automatic driving lessons in the area. Automatic lessons are great for anyone looking to switch from manual, or for anyone who wants to jump straight into automatic lessons. We would always recommend our pupils try manual lessons first, however, if this is not something you want to do we will be more than happy to arrange for your lessons to start in an automatic vehicle.
For learner drivers, Crystal Palace offers some great places to practice. Longton Avenue and Wells Park Road for example are perfect and with their 20mph speed limit you won’t have to worry that you’re driving too slow. Another route is College Road which, being long, wide and peaceful, is a dream for learners (the best in London perhaps) who may be feeling a little nervous at first.
Once comfortable, you’ll have no trouble in tackling some of Crystal Palace’s trickier roads, such as Gipsy Hill, and your confidence will soar higher than the Crystal Palace Tower itself!
The driving test centre in Croydon is now closed but you still have several test centres to choose from near to Crystal Palace. Mitcham, Hither Green and West Wickham are all good options and not too far from Crystal Palace. This will mean that you can practice the popular test routes for your chosen test centre on your driving lessons so that you are familiar with them ahead of your test.
