I came to Drive Johnsons in Farnborough after being let down by another company I felt like they just kept taking my money and wasting my time. I googled the best top 5 driving schools in Farnborough and Drive Johnsons came up. I did 20 hours with Drive Johnsons 18 hours and 2 hours for my test and passed first time.
I had a number of driving instructors before Jules and he is definitely the best I have had. He is very patient and never got annoyed with me or made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend!

You should be able to check your mirrors by moving your eyes - not your head. The examiners are trained to look out for eye checks rather than head movements. Moving your head may cause the examiner to think your mirrors are not set up correctly.

This allows you to begin your lessons in one location and finish in another whilst still receiving a high-quality lesson.
To start your lessons in one area and finish in another, let our booking coordinators know so they can inform the instructor. Once your instructor knows, they can then create the perfect lesson for you that fits with your schedule.
When taking your driving lessons in Egham, there are several great places you can go to practice your driving. Due to the size and location of Egham, you can practice on residential roads, A-roads such as the A30 and A308 along with the M25.
If you want to practice driving on a quiet residential road with roundabouts and several turnings, we highly recommend Mowbray Crescent. This quiet road located next to Mancroft Playing fields is a looping road that allows you to practice all aspects of your driving without the fear of running into any other drivers.
Firstly, your instructor will check both your eyesight and provisional driving licence. You will then have a quick conversation about your experience and, if you have never driven before, you will be taken to a quiet area, but depending on your experience, that could change.
Once the lesson is over, you will have a quick debrief and go through the strengths and weaknesses of your lesson. Your instructor will also record what you covered and any advice or guidance that has been given to you for next time and for you to take away.
