As you approach the no entry, the examiner will be getting ready to brake if you aren’t slowing down and look like you are going to avoid the no entry. If you notice their foot or leg moving slightly, you possibly have one or two seconds to go in the correct direction before they use the dual controls.

Your driving instructor in Hackney introduce themselves, put you at ease and ask you about your previous driving experience. If you have not had any previous lessons, don't worry as many people have not had any previous driving experience. During this chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will begin your driving lesson in a quiet area in Hackney. You will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals, how to steer, and turning left and right from a major to minor road. You will always start learning to drive in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to help you learn at your own pace.
Our Hackney instructors have extensive knowledge of the local area, so will be able to take you around neighbourhoods that you're familiar with, whether that be Lower Clapton or South Hackney, before getting you used to driving on busier roads, such as the A10.
You will be confident on the roads and behind the wheel in minimal time without our teaching methods. You're likely to begin on the smaller roads around Hackney and in estates where you can practice manoeuvres, before tackling the main roads.
