Many learners fail their manoeuvre because they rush it. They get concerned about keeping other road users waiting. It's good to be considerate of other road users but, on your test, you have got to go nice and slow, so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow, so you have time to observe!

There isn't a test centre in Hoddesdon itself but there are other test centres nearby, the closest being Enfield. Once you're more familiar and confident driving on larger roads, you'll drive down to Enfield with your driving instructor to cover the driving test route areas there. These include the yellow box junction on Mollison Avenue, Monarch's Way and Abbey Road areas, which are often included on the driving test.
