Your driveJohnson's instructor will begin your driving lessons on a long straight road, like Parsonage Road, where you have plenty of time and space to practise moving off and stopping by the side of the road again. Being a residential area, there are plenty of parked cars for you to manoeuvre around, helping you get used to controlling the car.
Once you're ready, you'll move onto the more advanced areas, like the busier A1306, which takes you into Purfleet. You'll also tackle the national speed-limited A13 dual carriageway, driving at 70mph and dealing with large, multi-lane roundabouts at its junctions.
