I was really struggling with learning to drive a manual car. Then I decided to switch to Shadia and an automatic, and my experience completely changed. I became so much more confident and even passed on my first attempt.

I fee truly blessed to have had Ahmad as my driving instructor. Having not driven for almost 7 years since getting my full license, I was apprehensive to return to driving again, as I wasn’t sure how quickly I’d adjust. Thankfully, Ahmad’s clear and calm approach meant that I felt so comfortable, I settled into driving again much sooner than I’d anticipated. Ahmad is a great communicator and super reliable as well as knowledgeable. He is the best instructor to learn from for a reason !! He knows the roads, is amazing at explaining things and will never let you make a mistake without having the opportunity to correct it. I feel more confident now than ever before and I know he will always be here for me if I need him. I would 100% recommend learning to drive with Ahmad.

Passed my driving test 1st time after having 30 hours of lessons with Makan. Really happy with how my lessons went and Makan helped me learn really fast and built up my confidence. He showed me all the test routes and did mock driving tests with me which I think really helped me to pass. Would definitely recommend Drive Johnsons and Makan to anyone.

Spent a lot of hours with Ahmad, and definitely because I wasn't confident in my driving. However, Ahmad was always present to correct my errors and point out where I could improve, even if the lessons were long and I kept repeating the mistakes over and over. I'm glad to say that I passed and I'm grateful that I had an instructor like Ahmad that enabled me to be confident not just in the test, but also in becoming a better driver.

Ahmad was extremely patient and friendly on all of our lessons. He made sure that I had enough experience with all of the manoeuvres, junctions, roundabouts and dual carriageways that I would encounter in day to day driving and on the test route. Me and my partner both decide to do lessons and get our licenses as fast as we can. I called drive jhonsons and arranged lessons for me and her, and we both got given ahmad ( who is very nice and great instructor ). If you need lessons then we must tell you that ahmad will be best instructor ever!

He took me through everything that I needed and was very encouraging. He is patient, reliable, punctual, and perceptive about where things need improvement. I also greatly appreciated his flexibility when arranging lessons.

I passed first time with Ahmad who I think is a fantastic instructor. He's friendly, chatty and puts you at ease, which is important when navigating tricky situations on city roads. But at the same time he's always completely on the ball when it comes to your driving. Where to start! If you are lucky enough to have Ahmed as your driving instructor, you are in safe hands. I started with him about a year ago having lost my confidence with driving. I didn’t enjoy it and never thought I’d pass. But Ahmed’s calm manner and meticulous standards meant that I grew to love driving, and passed my test first time. Ahmad is an AMAZING instructor. I passed my driving test the first time thanks to his rigorous and attentive teaching. I recently took refresher lessons with Ahmad, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Even though I already had my license, I wanted to rebuild my confidence, and Ahmad was the perfect instructor for that.

He is incredibly calm and an excellent communicator, making it easy to understand what I needed to focus on without feeling overwhelmed. His approach was patient and supportive, giving me the space to ask questions and work on specific areas. Plus, he’s a great conversationalist, which made each lesson very enjoyable.

Ahmad is an amazing teacher. Every lesson was such a joy. He is calm and reassuring, and I felt like I could actually make mistakes, get feedback, learn and improve, while enjoying the whole process. Ahmad is an excellent driver, and could notice the slightest mistakes in my driving and instantly deliver feedback in such a way that I never felt bad. I passed the exam the first time with a couple minors after 2 months of lessons, and more importantly, feel very confident on the road while driving.

He’s s really helpful and encouraged me to pass my test with his patience even though i was struggling at Cambridge roundabout, he used to tell me anything is possible so after his support and motivation I passed. So far I've done about 7 hours with Ahmad. The lessons are good and I feel like I've done loads already, and he's said as well that I'll probably only need like 15 or 20 more hours before I'm ready to go for my test.
