Paul is the most encouraging and positive person I know. In the beginning I was nervous about driving and thought I was slow compared to other people, but Paul encourages me constantly. He is hilarious and honestly makes driving lessons fun.

Ahmad was extremely patient and friendly on all of our lessons. He made sure that I had enough experience with all of the manoeuvres, junctions, roundabouts and dual carriageways that I would encounter in day to day driving and on the test route. I passed my test using all of the knowledge and tips that Ahmad provided on our lessons. Thank you!

I fee truly blessed to have had Ahmad as my driving instructor. Having not driven for almost 7 years since getting my full license, I was apprehensive to return to driving again, as I wasn’t sure how quickly I’d adjust. Thankfully, Ahmad’s clear and calm approach meant that I felt so comfortable, I settled into driving again much sooner than I’d anticipated. Ahmad is a great communicator and super reliable as well as knowledgeable. He is the best instructor to learn from for a reason !! He knows the roads, is amazing at explaining things and will never let you make a mistake without having the opportunity to correct it. when I call drive johnson, they say they have good instructing in my city in london. i ask them if they can give me the best person that they have in this city and i get given ahmad. he do my lessons and i pass my test yesterday now i am ready to drive anywhere thanks to the best instructor!!

I recently took refresher lessons with Ahmad, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Even though I already had my license, I wanted to rebuild my confidence, and Ahmad was the perfect instructor for that.

He is incredibly calm and an excellent communicator, making it easy to understand what I needed to focus on without feeling overwhelmed. His approach was patient and supportive, giving me the space to ask questions and work on specific areas. Plus, he’s a great conversationalist, which made each lesson very enjoyable.

Passed my driving test 1st time after having 30 hours of lessons with Makan. Really happy with how my lessons went and Makan helped me learn really fast and built up my confidence. He showed me all the test routes and did mock driving tests with me which I think really helped me to pass. Would definitely recommend Drive Johnsons and Makan to anyone.

Ahmad is an amazing teacher. Every lesson was such a joy. He is calm and reassuring, and I felt like I could actually make mistakes, get feedback, learn and improve, while enjoying the whole process. Ahmad is an excellent driver, and could notice the slightest mistakes in my driving and instantly deliver feedback in such a way that I never felt bad. I passed the exam the first time with a couple minors after 2 months of lessons, and more importantly, feel very confident on the road while driving.

So far I've done about 7 hours with Ahmad. The lessons are good and I feel like I've done loads already, and he's said as well that I'll probably only need like 15 or 20 more hours before I'm ready to go for my test. Really glad I got given Ahmad and will make sure I recommend all my friends to go with him as well.

I had 10 hours of driving lessons with Ahmed in preparation for moving to the US because I wanted some manual experience. I found him to be calm and considerate allowing me to work at my own pace to become familiar with driving. I’ll keep his number incase I ever come back to the UK and need a manual driving instructor!

Ahmad is a great teacher and pedagogue. He is very patient, friendly and fun to chat with. My instruction with Ahmad was fantastic. He picked me up for the first lesson & I must have been a nervous wreck - but we drove for about 10 minutes to somewhere quieter, then he showed me the basics of moving the vehicle, and off we went! After 20 hours I had to take a break in my lessons for personal reasons, but when I resumed Ahmad was more than happy to continue with me and see me through my driving test! A very happy Hannah that shows off for taking 32 hours & passing her test 1st time with 1 minor!

I am so glad I had Ahmad to teach me to learn to drive. He is very friendly and nice, very knowledgable, calm and patient. I am not a naturally good driver, but Ahmad got me from almost always stalling at the traffic lights (when I started) to passing and getting complimented in my driving test and passing with only 1 minor. I enjoyed our chat (we had lots of good chats) and his sense of humour. I would recommend Ahmad to anyone, he is the best instructor, and a lovely person.

I would really appreciate Yaffa because without his patience i wouldn’t have passed my driving test. He’s s really helpful and encouraged me to pass my test with his patience even though i was struggling at Cambridge roundabout, he used to tell me anything is possible so after his support and motivation I passed. When first starting lessons I went with automatic because it seemed easier and I wasn’t confident that I would be able to drive a manual. A few years later and I decided to take it really serious and commit to lessons and that. I called them and the girl on the phone said to give manual a try first as you have more freedom. I took 35 hours and went for my test, passed with 6 minors and couldn’t be happier with the result
