If you make a mistake on your driving test, don’t look into it too much. There is nothing you can do. It’s behind you now; focus on the road ahead. There have been many occasions where pupils have thought they have failed the test and passed because they have taken this advice.

When learning to drive in Prestwitch, you have a few options on where you can take your test. The main area most pupils go to take their test is Manchester.
When it comes to preparing for your test, your instructor will begin going through test routes with you once you have chosen your test centre. For instance, if you decide to take it in Manchester over Bury, you will spend your time completing mock tests to prepare. This is the same wherever you take your test.
Before you take your driving test, we always suggest having an hour's lesson before you take your test. This is because it allows you to sharpen your skills and is also a good way of calming your nerves.
With no test centre in Prestwich, you will drive to your chosen centre and then begin your practice session. Your instructors will make sure that you are familiar with all of the possible test routes in the lessons running up to your test.
When it comes to taking your driving lessons in Prestwich, we will begin by building you a strong base of fundamental skills. We do this by focusing on the basics and begin to challenge you as and when you are ready.
The basics that you will be learning will begin with learning the controls, like showing you around the car, which pedal does what, how to progress through gears, adjusting the seat, and switching on lights and indicators. Along with this, you will then go into how to move off and stop, turn left and right, and how to master clutch control.
