If you notice the examiner marking something on the marking sheet, don't panic! There are other elements of the test that they need to mark, which doesn't mean you have received a recorded fault. They have to mark down when a manoeuvre, hill start, angled moving off, and more are completed.

A classic question is, what happens if you go the wrong way on your test? The answer is not a lot. Just try to do it safely, and you will be fine. Many learners will swerve at short notice, realising they are in the wrong lane and fail for the changing lanes part. If the examiner can see you have time to get into the correct lane, they may repeat the instruction or use hand signals. They won't repeat or re-enforce the direction if it isn't safe or there isn't enough time. You will not receive a driving fault for safely going in the wrong direction on your test.

Being in the foothills of the Pennines, Mossley unfortunately doesn't have its own test centre. However, due to its location, there are several centres located near Mossley. The closest test centre is just over 6 miles away in Chadderton.
Due to there not being a test centre in Mossley, when it comes to taking your driving lessons in Mossley your instructor will make sure that you learn in the area where you plan to take your test. This allows you to get comfortable with where you are taking your test and familiarise yourself with possible test routes.
