Having driving lessons in Musselburgh, you have a test centre on your doorstep in Musselburgh itself on Newhailes Industrial Estate. However, some learners choose to go to further afield, with many taking their tests in Haddington, which is about 20 minutes away by car, or at the Edinburgh Currie test centre, which is about half an hour's drive away.
Wherever you choose to take your test locally, your driving instructor may recommend having some driving lessons in Edinburgh ahead of your test. This is because many of the popular test routes will take you into Edinburgh and the busy Edinburgh roads are a great place to practice your driving skills and build up your confidence before test day.
