Driving Lessons in Newbury

I did an intensive course with Richard Wilson, he made learning to drive a really good experience for me. I had struggled learning with a previous instructor about 18 months ago and I did give up. I am glad I found Richard because he got me through my test in no time!!

I had an incredible experience learning to drive with Richard. He is super friendly and a fantastic instructor.

I previously done an intensive course with a company and I failed miserably. My confidence was so low, I decided to quit learning to drive.
My close friends told me to use their instructor - Richard, so I did.
He was amazing, he really got my confidence up and made learning to drive fun again. I would deffo recommend learning with him. I passed first time with Richard with just 2 minor faults.

I would 100% recommend Richard Wilson as a driving instructor. He is such a sound guy, I had no problems throughout the course of learning to drive. He was always in such a good mood and made learning to drive such a fun experience, (even on the harder days). I passed my test first time with him and only got 5 minor faults!!

I had a great experience with Richard, especially as I came from a driving school that was less than helpful with cancellations and overcharging. However, when I moved to driveJohnson's and Richard, my whole outlook of driving changed, and I can now say I am a confident driver, and I even passed on my first attempt.

I loved learning with Richard as he was such a great instructor who always turned up on time and with a new challenge in every lesson.

I was terrified to take my test, but I am so glad I was with Richard as he kept me calm and confident from the start of my lessons until my test.

Very good and thorough lessons, had me pass my test the first time round. Was always patient and supportive making lessons a fun and relaxed experience. 10/10

Richard in Andover is the best instructor I have ever had. After using other schools and other instructors I thought maybe driving was not for me but Richard has really helped me to progress and I passed yesterday

I had a really amazing experience learning to drive with Richard Wilson, my cousin actually recommended him to me and said he would be great for me as I struggled with nerves and anxiety. He was so patient and understanding and got me all the way through my test with no issues whatsoever. I passed first time with only 6 minors. I was over the moon.

I started as a very nervous pupil, my instructor instantly settled my nerves and was really reassuring and friendly. my lessons were always fun. He was patient and always took the time to expain things and answer any questions i had, i was never made to feel silly with anything i didnt understand. great instructor and i passed first time with only 3 minors.

It feels amazing to now be able to drive, and I am so pleased that I passed with only four minors.

I had about 15 hours worth of lessons with a previous driving school, instead of feeling like I was learning something new and fun, I would dread my next lesson from the minute my last one finished. I knew once the 15 hours were complete I would not return for more.
One of my friends recommended Richard Wilson, so I thought I'd give it a go. I just wish I had found him sooner, the lessons were so much better and I did not feel under so much pressure. I passed my test first time with only 4 minor faults.

I had a really bad past experience with another company which caused a delay in re starting my lessons. i explained this to drivejohnsons over the phone and they were so helpful and listened to my needs. i was placed with my instructor who was fantastic. i progressed quickly and passed first time. highly recommend.

I was previously learning with another driving school and I was under so much pressure by my instructor to pass as soon as possible. I knew I wasn't test ready, yet he still urged me to go for my test. it was awful, I failed and failed bad! I started to look around for another instructor and came across Richard Wilson, he was a game changer, the lessons flowed so much better, I felt so much more confident by the end of it, and I passed with only 4 minors. I'd deffo recommend him!

If you need to pass fast, make sure you learn with Richard as he is a great instructor and a great person.

Just went and passed my test first time this morning with only 3 minor faults, Richard Wilson is the man if you're looking to pass fast. Such an easy going and patient guy. I had no stress or issues getting through my driving with him!
