There are many types of driving instructor, you can get cubic zirconia or you can get diamond. Paul is a diamond! I took my first step back into driving after an absence of 25 years, extremely nervous and having never really had much confidence in the first place. With low expectations I have learned so many techniques in my first refresher lesson I can’t believe it. I expected to drive round an industrial estate for hours tbh. I have learned how to parallel park, park in a bay at Sainsbury’s and drive in busy traffic in just two hours. I still have some relearning but also learning to do as my past instructors never got me in and out of the car looking at where I’ve just put the car and importantly why and how. I never really understood why some things I did worked and some didn’t, I’m getting to see the theory of it which is what I personally need to feel happier behind the wheel. Paul says he will teach you what you need to learn to drive for life not to get through a driving test and I totally believe it. I only wish he’d been able to teach me those years ago. Certainly does what he says on the tin! And anybody lacking in confidence or skills would benefit from some time with him.

Paul is a very good instructor, made me feel calm and confident, I passed my test first time so just proves how good a instructor he is.

Today I PASSED my driving test FIRST TIME having only had 28hours of driving, I started off as a brand new learner driver, Paul Reilly was an absolutely fantastic instructor, he made me feel very comfortable at the wheel and I felt under no pressure at all, with the help of Paul I can say that I finally have my own freedom and can not wait to see what my future holds, thankyou so much again, Morgan!

As a driving instructor he was very informative, calm, clear and provided support when i needed it. What i found most helpful was him explaining why we do certain things, as it helped me understand and remember better.

Booked a driving lesson with Paul ... not knowing anything about him or how the lesson was going to go on ... but as soon as I stepped into the car everything went better than hoped and I actually managed to know where I am in terms of progress and how many lessons I'll need to pass ... great instructor and advisor all in one !

I really wanted to know where i am with my driving and the kind of progress i had made and that was made very clear to me. Great instructor, explains everything well as well as being very supportive when u encounter obstacles. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had my first ever lesson with Paul the other day and the amount of progress I achieved was unbelievable, I was only expecting to be doing a few manoeuvres on an empty piece of land somewhere but I did so much more such as parking, turning on a roundabout and driving lots, I had a few nerves at the start but they soon passed when I was in the drivers seat being reassured by Paul, he put me at rest and helped me immensely, I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to drive, especially first timers!

I had my first driving lesson with Paul Reilly today & it was so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I have never been in a drivers seat before, let alone drove a car - so I was very new to driving. As it was my first driving lesson, I didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t ever think I would be driving a car, especially on my first lesson. Yet, I was driving around - I learnt how to start and stop the car, turn left & right, change gears & reverse into a parking space. This was all possible as I felt so at ease & relaxed with Paul. He’s very reassuring, guiding you the whole journey. I would strongly recommend him to any person learning to drive. :)

Excellent instructor. After having few instructors and being with lack of confidence, I met Paul. He always stayed calm and explained everything clearly. This helped me to increase my confidence and pass my driving exam from the first time. He has a great communication with his students which allows to easily reach him and be up to date about availability dates. I would highly recommend Paul as a driving instructor for anyone!

Paul was a great instructor! He was really patient with me and didn’t get frustrated when there was things I didn’t pick up as quickly. He gave me lots of techniques to help with confidence and nerves, all the way through to the test day and helped me to believe I can pass. You can tell that Paul enjoys his job and does it for the right reasons and really enjoys helping people - I’ll recommend him to anyone that asks for an instructor in the future!

The best lesson I've had. Really informative and supportive. Very encouraging. He was patient with me and helped me evaluate my strengths and weaknesses so we could work on targets for improvement. I can see myself making so much progress with Paul. After a year + of not doing lessons he really helped me ease back into it and recap my knowledge with neat tips and tricks to remember things.

Had my 1st lesson today with Paul absolutely brilliant! Couldn’t ask for a better instructor never even been behind the wheel of a car until today and he made me feel completely comfortable being behind the wheel can’t wait for my next lesson with him ?

Before Paul I had no confidence when it came driving, I have serious anxiety and could barely move a vehicle. Within 3 months he help me to gain confidence and today I passed my test first time with only 4 faults.

Today I had my first driving lesson with Paul and it was amazing! He was very calm and helped to explain aspects of driving that I didn’t know or understand at all before the lesson. I felt very comfortable and confident driving with him although I’ve heard little to no experience and I would definitely recommend him!

Amazing first lesson with Paul. I’ve learnt more in this 1 lesson than I have in the 16 I had before. I feel confident calm and in control learning with Paul and I’m 100% sure I will pass after receiving his instruction. Paul is a patient, friendly and understanding instructor. He takes into consideration how you learn, tailoring sessions to your benefit. I've had a couple of sessions with Paul who has greatly improved my confidence and ability in the car.

Paul was so patient and understanding from lesson one until I passed my test. He is extremely friendly and he never pushed me too far, but still made sure I was progressing enough each lesson. I passed first time with Paul with one minor and I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I started my driving lessons with Pual from August. I have just past my test on Friday on my first attempt.Pual is a very reliable instructor, he always points out all my mistakes through my driving at the same time he gives me the confidence I need too. Paul is an extremely professional, patient, empathic and friendly instructor. I had my first lesson with him today and his way of teaching made me feel very calm but confident at the same time . So you can teach an 'old dog new tricks', or Paul can! I was very nervous about learning to drive and Paul put me at my ease with his calm, unflappable manner. This is because he helped me to believe in myself and find the virtuous circle, not the vicious. He can help you too because he gets to know and understands how to help you best and if you need to stop and reset yourself after a mistake or two, he let's you. I passed my test first time with only one minor fault.
