By getting in the test centre car park as early as possible, you can get the best parking bay, in case you are asked to do the bay park manoeuvre.

Often during the parallel park, we use the door mirror so much that we risk not looking all around and making effective observations. If you ensure you look over your right shoulder at least twice and out of the back of the window at least 6 times, then that should be just enough to satisfy the examiner. These are only guidelines though - in some cases you will need to look around even more during busy times.
