Many learners fail their manoeuvre because they rush it. They get concerned about keeping other road users waiting. It's good to be considerate of other road users, but on your test, you have got to go nice and slow so you have time to do all the observations needed. The faster you do the manoeuvre, the faster your observations should be. You know what to do - keep your speed slow so you have time to observe!

Sometimes you may need help hearing or understanding the examiner's directions. Ask politely and immediately for them to repeat the instruction. Don't guess or ask when you are too close to the junction. You can re-enforce the direction by asking. The examiner will happily confirm this for you.
