As a growing market town sat north west of the city of Nottingham, Ripley is the perfect location to introduce you to lots of different road types. You will likely start your lessons in a quiet, residential road in Ripley itself, such as Charnwood Drive, and slowly build up the confidence to tackle trickier situations. You will soon be meeting traffic on the busier A and B roads across the town, practicing dual carriageway driving on the A38 and even motorway driving on the M1.
When you take driving lessons in Ripley, you’ll be surrounded by nearby towns such as Heanor, Alfreton and Belper, all of which are less than 5 miles away from the centre. This means you’ll have plenty of different towns to explore during lessons and you’ll never get bored on the same old roads.
