Driving Lessons In Royton

We are pleased to have local driving instructors in Royton ready and waiting to help you achieve your pink driving license! As they know the area well, there would be no need to drive away from the town until the basics are covered and your confidence is up. A good practice area for beginners is to the north of the town, in roads such as Newark Park Way and the wide, straight Tandle Hill Road, where it tends to be quiet. Here, you can master the foundations and increase your confidence before moving on to busier, trickier areas.

In your first lesson, you will learn the car controls, steering, how to move off and stop the car, changing gears, how to turn left and right, and how to emerge from an open T Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing and the length of your lesson. Your instructor will help you to learn at a pace you are comfortable and happy with.

Please bring your provisional driving licence with you as your driving instructor will not be able to proceed with the lesson until they have seen this. We would suggest you wear comfortable, flat shoes as well to ensure that you are comfortable in the driving seat. Otherwise, there's nothing else to remember - just bring yourself and willingness to learn!
