Your driving instructor in Sandyford will come to meet you at a prearranged time and place. They will ask about your previous experience, go over the basics of the car, do an eyesight check and check your provisional driving licence.
Once this is done, your driving instructor will take you to a quiet road in Sandyford, such as Delbrook Manor. You will practice moving off and stopping the car, clutch control, how to use the different pedals, turning left and right, and emerging from an open T Junction, depending on how fast you are progressing. If you are new to driving, you will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
