I had over 50 hours with another school but in just 10 hours with drive johnson I passed with only 1 minor!!! Thank you Jack!

Was unsure how to go about booking for lessons never driven before. So when i called DriveJohnsons i was very nervous. But the staff in the office was so helpful and guided me through all the information i needed and i got myself booked in. Don’t think i would have even gone ahead with lessons had it not been for the person i spoke to. Big Thankyou.

I was very nervous about learning to drive at first but Richard was recommended by my friends. So glad i decided to go for it. Richard is the most patient and funniest guy i have met. Really made me feel at ease on my first lesson. Cant wait for next lesson.

I came to Drive Johnsons after trying another company and by far this is the best company I have had. Not only did my instructor help me with my lessons and helped me pass my driving test the company sent me a theory link from Theory Test pro and I passed my Theory first time. I lost my license 2 years ago as I had it revoked. I came to Drive Johnsons and did 6 hours with my instructor. I had to do an extended test and passed.

It’s common when turning left at a blind T-junction to look right and only look left when the car goes into a new road. You will often get away with this, but now and again, something will be there, like a parked car or a pedestrian about to walk out. On your test, you’ll fail, and in real life, you’ll have a severe accident. Be sure to do the minimum observations for T-junctions: right, left, right and then look into the road before you emerge into it!

It's another classic, but many learners think they should offset their mirrors, so they must move their heads more during the test. You should be able to check your mirrors by moving your eyes - not your head. The examiners are trained to look out for eye checks rather than head movements. Moving your head may cause the examiner to think your mirrors are not set up correctly.

When you take your driving lessons in Seaford with driveJohnson's, you'll begin in the Seaford area itself, since it's fairly quiet and residential. Most of the roads in the area are straight, long and wide, providing the ideal place to learn how to start moving the car, stop by the side of the road and move up through the gears. Seaford's grid like layout results in there being lots of T-junctions to cover and side roads to turn into - after a few hours you'll have perfected turning left, right and emerging at T-junctions. Unfortunately, Seaford doesn't have its own Driving Test Centre, so you'll have to head into Eastbourne to cover the test route areas.
Once you're confident driving in the Seaford area, you'll make the 25-minute trip across Beachy Head via the A259 and onto the Grand Parade, running parallel to the coast, to the Eastbourne Driving Test Centre. Once there, you'll cover the trickier roundabouts, junctions and roads that you'll likely cover on your test. You'll cover the 6-exit Sovereign Roundabout on the Test Centre's doorstep and the double roundabout on Willingdon Drove. Your instructor will know the trickiest areas that you'll face on your driving test and prepare you well for them all, leaving you with no surprises on your test day.
