At driveJohnson's, we go the extra mile to support our learners both in and out of lessons. We believe that the key to passing fast and the first time is doing what you can outside of practical lessons to boost yourself to continue learning. The last thing you want is to have a week between lessons and forget what you've been taught. This will only set you back and end up costing you more money.
We provide our pupils with the resources they need to continue their learning outside of lessons. Each pupil is given a driving manual with expert driving tips and advice, as well as access to theory training and access to the driveJohnson's app which has tons of content to help further your driving knowledge and get you ready for your test.
On your first driving lesson in Staines, your driving instructor will come to meet you at a time and place that works well for you. You will have an introductory chat and ask you about your previous driving experience. During this chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, and they will do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will then begin your driving lesson in a quiet area in Staines away from the pressure of heavy traffic. They will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
