Our nearest test centre is Warwick. When coming out or coming back into the test centre car park, take it nice & SLOW with all the brand new parked cars (various car manufacturers use the car park & you have to drive past these brand new cars). There is a 10 miles an hour speed limit, but examiners do want you to go a bit slower. Also, when coming out of the car park, don't forget the speed limit is 40. If you're turning right, it's soon back to 30. If you're turning left, if it's safe, GET YOUR SPEED UP!

If you have forgotten the speed limit for the road you are driving on, then think the following: have you seen a change in speed - speed limit signs must be present when speed limits change? What are the cars in front doing? Are they driving considerably faster? What is the car behind doing? Are they driving too close and looking angry? None of these observations will give you the exact answer, but they can help you make a calculated decision. Also, look out for the examiner checking your speed limit, sometimes they lean over to see the lower speeds, such as 30mph.
