A nice little tip that should serve you well is whenever the examiner gives you a direction, you will inevitably have to check your mirrors. If they say, "At the next road on the left", check the interior and left door mirror. If they say, "at the roundabout, follow the road ahead", check your interior mirror as you will need to slow down and know what is behind you.

Your driving instructor in Teignmouth will ask you about your previous experience. If you have not had any previous lessons, that is fine as many people have not had any previous experience. During this chat, your driving instructor will also go over the basics of the car, and they will do an eyesight check and check your provisional licence.
Once this is done, your instructor will begin your driving lesson in a quiet area. They will cover moving off and stopping, clutch control, the different pedals and how to steer. You will always begin in a quiet area away from cars and other road users to learn at your own pace.
