Everyone is going to be nervous when it comes to taking the driving test. The best way to manage your nerves in advance is by doing the following:
- Make sure you have passed a mock test with your instructor.
- Ensure you know the test route areas; your driveJohnson’s instructor will make sure this is covered.
- Wear comfortable clothing on the day of your test. Wearing a blazer jacket, for example, might be a bit tight around the arms and shoulders. Wearing a big puffer jacket may make you too hot. You want a cool temperature driving environment during the day.
- If you are really nervous, then try taking rescue remedy leading up to the day of your driving test.
- Go to bed at your normal time. If you go to bed at 11pm at night, don’t try to go to bed at 8pm. Your body and mind won’t be used to sleeping so early, and this could cause worry later on into the night. If you want to go to bed early, start making gradual changes at least a month before your test.
